David Hiser (b. Sept. 2, 1937), photojournalist and photo educator, has a B.A. degree from the University of Washington, and has worked for the National Geographic Society, producing twenty stories in National Geographic Magazine with contributions to numerous National Geographic books and films. His assignments have ranged widely: Aztecs, Death Valley, Coyotes, Early Man, Hudson Bay, Pompeii, Polynesian Sailing Canoes, Sri Lanka, Tasmania and Tarahumara Indians among others.
